Generations of the Metrat family have been producing award
winning wines. Now, in the very capable hands of father and
son team, Michel and Bernard Metrat, the tradition of making
top quality wines with character continues.
Metrat et Fils Fleurie 2002
'Fleurie is often called the 'Queen of Beaujolais' and this
one has a distinctly floral nose and on the palate is packed
with juicy summer fruit flavours. Very nicely made, with some
distinctive character', Myles McWeeney, Irish Independent

Metrat et Fils Fleurie Vieilles
Vignes 2002
This Fleurie is made from the fruit of old vines (vieille
vignes) which results in greater concentrations of aroma and
fruitiness. A worthy winner of the prestigious 'Coup de Coeur'
in the Guide Hachette.
Metrat et Fils Chiroubles
2002
Along with Fleurie, Chiroubles is one of the ten Beaujolais
Cru villages that have the right to use their own names on
labels, and show distinct characteristics of their own.
A fruity and silky wine, Chiroubles is Beaujolais at its prettiest,
both as wine and village.
