Big Thanks!! to everyone who attended our Wine Tasting last Friday!



Many Thanks also for spreading the word,
we had a great turnout, one of the best ever...

Our lovely guest Lorna Rouse,
from Cassidy Wine Merchants,
played a blinder,
picking out a selection of lovely
new wines for us to sample.

We tasted 6 wines in total.
Starting with Italy, an organic Pinot Grigio
(from Sicily) a chilled Tuscan Sangiovese red
from Ziobaffa...(perfect for the beach!)
and a cheeky Santa Margherita Rosé...

Moving into Spain, Lorna showed us
3 lovely wines from the world-famous
Emilio Moro bodega, a beautiful Godello white
and 2 different expressions of
red Ribera del Duero
(one of my all-time favourite wine regions!)
the Finca Resalso 2020
and the flagship Emilio Moro 2019...

Everyone had their favourites
and I was especially impressed 
with the reaction to the organic Pinot Grigio and the Finca Resalso...
