Big thanks to everyone who attended our wine tasting last Friday!
We had a great turnout for our third tasting of the summer.
Our special guest was Albert Baginski
of Solera Wine Merchants and
we tasted six exciting wines
from six different wine countries!
A little trip around the world of wine...
lovely wines from Portugal, New Zealand,
Italy, Austria, France and Argentina...
We tasted a fresh Dao white, a textbook Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from Babich
and a really interesting Allram Gruner Veltliner...
The reds followed the whites (as usual) and we enjoyed a crunchy Pinot Noir from the south of France, a gorgeous Primitivo di Manduria and a showstopper Atamisque Malbec from Mendoza...
Pizza arrived from our buddies in the village,
North Woodfired Pizza and the craic was good!
