The name Chaminé originates from one of the vineyard plots – ‘Chaminé de Gião’, where originally the grapes used in the wine were grown on the ancient clay over limestone soils surrounding the estate near Vidigueira.
Grape Variety: 45% Aragonez (Tempranillo), 30% Syrah, 15% Touriga Nacional, 5% Trincadeira, 5% Alicante Bouschet
Characteristics: Intense, fresh red berry aromas. Vibrant fruit with a nice fresh acidity.
Food Pairing: Red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.
